24. The return date of LeBron James ticket to Cleveland is upon us this week and obviously this has been making most of the news and today's 'Through The Wire'. Apparently Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert is so over everything, we'll see. Gilbert expects the Quicken Loans Arena crowd to be rowdy but at the same time like well disciplined children on their best behavior. The arena has implemented extra security but still the owner expects no trouble, "I really believe that Cleveland people will do the right thing". Still to keep 'Bron safe Gilbert admits security is the way to go, "You don't want to see anything stupid happen." Meanwhile in Miami nerves must be running high for LeBron before his unwelcome return, "It's going to be tough, but I'm there to win a basketball game," James told press showing both of his humble and confident side. LeBron reiterated, "I understand. I understand how passionate fans are about sports. I'm ready for whatever response that I'm going to get. It's going to be very emotional." Now this may be considered a little too late for his fans outside Akron but James also offered a touching testament to his first franchise, "I've got a lot of great memories in that city. So many times, from ups and downs, and a lot of things that I've done in my life, I give a lot of thanks to that city, lot of thanks to those fans for giving me the opportunity to not only showcase my talent but grow from a young boy to a man." 48. The Lakers suffered their third straight loss last night as the Memphis Grizzlies overcame them by a basket, 98-96. Right now the Lakers team are one in dire straights and this brothers in arms battle between the Gasol boys ended with the younger brother standing up to his elder. Speaking of these guys this game marks only the second three game losing streak for the Lake Show after the Gasol trade (which actually involved both brothers, bet the Lakers wish they kept him now) in early 2008. Mike Conley paced the Grizz with a season high 28, 10 of which came in the crucial fourth. This moves his team to four wins at home and four wins out of five games overall. Memphis is sounding good again. Artest could of brought the game back to LA but had a clutch three blocked by Rudy Gay. The defensive king had nothing but praise for Gay's play "That was great execution. His close out was perfect ... He closed out, chopped his feet a little bit. Stayed low, didn't go totally for the head fake and recovered." Kobe led the whole floor with 29, Pau had 15 and 14 for yet another double while his brother had 10 for Memphis. Guess that 'Get back on track' marked on the white board in the Lakers dressing room won't be rubbed off yet.
82. Talking of defending champions in trouble the reigning Eastern kings, the Boston Celtics have had troubles of their own. Inactive, injured guards being at the top of the list. Reserve guard Delonte West has had his fair share of troubles with the law this offseason and now this season he is now recovering to surgery to his right wrist. Boston and Rondo will have to wait while their right hand man recovers from his surgery he had yesterday. The timetable for his return is yet to be set, "It's going to be a long time, Let's put it that way" coach Doc Rivers offered. The Celtics will miss Wests averages of 7.5 in 19 per out in the east. Still there is some good news coming out of New England. Star guard and player Rajon Rondo has returned to the lineup and everyone can see that with his performance against the Cavs. Rondo was twice as nice with 23 points (a season high) and 12 assists for the Celts fourth straight in the W. It appears Rajon's tender left hamstring and sore foot that he is playing with is not a concern. For other teams the best point in the league is though. TIM DAVID HARVEY.
