Training camp for NBA teams is now open! There are plenty of stories emerging after media day, but two of the biggest involve two of the best and most talked about players this summer. After all the negative talk about LeBron James this summer, his retort? He's going to let his game do the talking and he has stated he has "a lot of motivation" after all the back chatter this summer. Meanwhile James career co-star Carmelo Anthony (who has followed LeBron's footsteps in many ways) walked into the Denver Nuggets media day wearing a Nuggets jersey. Melo' is unsure of his future however. Whether he'll be donning a New Jersey jersey soon is still up in that Denver thin air. Still the fact that Anthony reported for camp in Denver is still a nugget of positive news for this team after the negativity surrounding this almost definite breakup.

With all these superstars looking to fly it's refreshing to see one franchise hero looking to return to his headquarters next season. Upcoming free agent Tony Parker has already expressed his loyalties to San Antonio before even having the chance to test the free agent waters in 2011. The tenacious French point guard not only knows that he has a wife worth sticking with in Eva Longoria Parker but a team worth committing too also. The reason this subject is even an issue in Parkers potential final year however is that he hopes the Spurs feel the same with the championship window closing for Parker, Duncan and Ginobili. Now the fact that these guys have already won three titles should keep talks for Tony open.

Now one player looking for a fresh start but with his current team is Washington Wizard Gilbert Arenas. This is following his March sentencing for felony gun possession for bringing a gun into his teams lockeroom after a gambling debt dispute with former teammate Jarvaris Crittenton. During media day the usual happy go lucky franchise player appeared serious, a demeanour which he'll want to translate on to the floor this season. Arenas however states that on court is the only place he does want to smile. Regardless it's going to be a joy to see Gilbert back on the floor next season so long as he keeps his troubles at bay and his talent in play.
